Shabad renditions (Inaugural event)
Inaugurating the Aagaas project, the students of Cambridge International Foundation School enriched the spiritual ambiance of Gurudwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib, Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, Jalandhar with melodious Shabad renditions. With respect, they dedicatedly participated in Shabad singing, and sought blessings from God for the success of the project.
Immersing themselves in the essence of Aagaas—to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate—the children were enlightened about their mission during the Gurdwara Sahib visit. Their prayers, echoing through the sacred halls, were a powerful melody of genuine yearning for the triumph of the initiative.
The soul stirring Kirtan performance, delivered with passion and skill, along with their active involvement in the sacred act of langar service, represented the firm commitment of these young participants to the noble cause of Aagaas. Their actions spoke volumes, resonating with the impact they intend to make in the service of a better and more compassionate world.
Eco crafts
Where creative hands breathed life into discarded treasures,
Crafting innovative wonders from eco-friendly measures. Aagaas organised its first competition - “EcoCrafts” on the account of Earth Day on 22 April 2024, at Cambridge International Foundation School.
The primary objective of this competition was to encourage students to utilise eco-friendly materials in creating innovative crafts and decorations. By repurposing items that would otherwise be discarded.
This competition not only ignited creativity but also championed sustainability within our school community. It exemplified the essence of the IB Learner Profile attribute of being "principled" by promoting responsible and ethical use of resources.
Through "EcoCrafts", we aim to cultivate in our students a sense of environmental responsibility and creativity, nurturing a generation committed to the preservation of our planet and the promotion of sustainable practices.

Recycling Drive
An impactful initiative of Recycling Drive organised on the campuses of Cambridge Innovative School and Cambridge International Foundation School witnessed an enthusiastic participation from all grades, and brought together students, teachers, and staff in a collective effort to reduce waste and promote a culture of sustainability. The contributions were made by bringing in various recyclable materials, the collected items were then carefully sorted and prepared for recycling.
The Recycling Drive was undeniably a resounding success, highlighting the power of collective action. It also served as a powerful reminder of our responsibility to make sustainable choices, both within the school and beyond. Moreover, The world today is at a crossroad, where every choice we make has the potential to shape the future of our planet. And it is activities like these that remind us of the power we hold when we come together for a common cause.
